bullets

Here are the bullet points for things i would like to cover with you today:

- Skype: wave of the future.
- The Other Boleyn Girl: a story watcher's story
- Decision making 101
- bodywar

Skype- connecting the world with video chatting. Maybe i am really late showing up to this "party", but skype is freaking awesome! I have baby stepped into the great unknown by, first, chatting with Courtney. in case you were wondering, yes- i did drive 4 miles to target, buy a microphone, drive back 4 miles to video chat with my friend who lives one mile away. i did that. SO worth it! Mom and dad and i have been enjoying it. Kristin and chad will catch on soon. its pretty great. if you haven't done so, download skype and get connectin'.

Last night i went to see "The Other Boleyn Girl" with Joanna. I enjoyed this film immensely. be warned- it is tragic and somewhat graphic in parts, but extremely well done and has haunted my thoughts all day long. Y'all know i love those movies! Scarlett and Natalie were masterful. That being said, you should know we had the strangest movie going experience. i mean... bizarre. at first we were all alone. Then, as the movie was literally starting, 9 MOMS (Moms Of Middle Schoolers) file into the row in front of us with amazing volume. First of all, when someone is already settled and has their feet up on the seat- sit in one of the other 150 seats... its the rules. secondly, don't lean over and whisper to maggie, "Did you know scarlet johansen is in this?!" better yet- here's an idea... don't talk the entire movie. like Dialog Doug or Play-by-Play Paul. He was sitting over my right shoulder stating the wildly obvious. Joanna is the perfect partner for taking in the crazies... We're both the people that others say (to us), "only you" all the time. Together, we're a force to be reckoned with.

So- i need to make a decision soon. very very soon. Its not going to affect my daily life but is an enormous one, nonetheless. Truth be told, the decision is already made. just need to get the nerve to make a call. It is really difficult to be healthy and have boundaries when you're a people pleaser and "need" people to love you.

BODY WAR. theres no other way to put it. i am at war with my body. it is slowly transitioning to war with my body. no caffeine is hard to do. no sugar... harder. healthy frequent meals- awesome but time consuming. I just want you to know how very much i appreciate the accountablilty and encouragement. I'm gonna be feeling SO good soon. just gotta break the food addictions first. hmmm.

Well, that's all for today's installment. theres bound to be a plethora of photos from this weekend- you'll enjoy. stay tuned!
