Happy!

Wow... there are so many fun things to cover, my loving readers!

we'll just jump right in, shall we?

1. Mom, Dad, and Emily brought it to middle Tennessee and it was a wonderful visit! Emmy came from B'ham and mom and dad came from NC and arrived about 10 minutes apart! We covered some serious ground in one weekend, folks. it was seriously a magnificent time and i can hardly believe that it was over a week ago! sheesh! Highlights included: viewing "Prince Caspian", attending a great music/art show called "Off 12th", a trip to Huntsville, LOTS of great food, a taste of City Church, and movies on the blow up mattress in the livingroom. poor dad was probably overloaded with all the estrogen, but we all had a blast!

2. I just made the best playlist EVer... be impressed.

3. I just spent the Memorial weekend on the Kentucky Lake with friends at the Green Turtle Bay. It was insanely fun!! Who knew that sitting around on a boat in the middle of a lake could be SO fun?! Also, it turns out that i am great at the jet ski! All i could do was just laugh while alexis drove but then when i had control of the beast, i was airborn! it was exhilerating!

4. Today, actual Memorial Day, has been so lazy for me! I had big plans for pool side lounging, cookouts and merriment... then it stormed like crazy! So, i put on cozy clothes and did laundry, lied around, and downloaded music from cds into my itunes. let's hear it for a random lazy day! I do feel like i need to somehow appreciate the significance of Memorial Day, though. not sure how, but we'll see... the days not over yet.

5. I'm hungry.

6. MY BOY DAVID COOK ACTUALLY WON AMERICAN IDOL!!!!! ok, so we all know that i got obsessed with A.I. this year. (yes... i just abbreviated it, stay with me). So, obviously, if i could vote for Simon, i would. since that's not possible- i have been TEAM COOK from early on! He just seems like such a good guy and is so talented! Good job, America. you got this one right! sweet little archie will do well on broadway. mark my words.

So, beloved readers, i hope you've all had a great week or so. I am going to have a quick week
as i head to SC on thursday. there will be a slight stop over in Knoxville since i'm riding with neal and he's got a show to attend. We'll be heading to Duff and Kristi's wedding and i think i am just SO excited to see everyone and spend some time with kristin!!

alright, homies, no promises, but i will likely take a chance to blog again before i head out again! bye bye!

tidbits

wow.... having Kristin and Chad (along with kenny, nate, and josh) was wonderful... if only for 18 hours! We packed a whole visit and a nights sleep into that tiny space of time! it really did my heart good. I needed me some twin time! Here's a picture of Kristin, Chad, and some of our good friends rebecca, alexis and amanda at the show!

As i write to you, i am glancing at my very new "do"! Here's a picture:

Kris hooked me up with a new edgy style that i dig a WHOLE lot! Good thing she didn't do what i asked for (which, by the by, was a faux hawk or a mullet) but instead gave me this fab do. she's a magician with those snippers! If you're within driving distance of Columbia, SC and want to take advantage of her services, just ask! She's at Cline's Salon (incidentally, you'll need a week's notice probably. peeps are picking up on her skillz!) so, the moral to this story is "sometimes a girl just needs to toss it up. right?"

So, i hope everyone has a lovely Thursday aka. Lost day/ The Office day! no, i don't live my life by network television. it just sounds that way.

ta ta.
