Last night at church this happened:
me: hey buddy!
clark (pastor's hilarious 8 year old kid): *after doing our secret wink* um... you've gotten taller.
me: no... just wearing elevator shoes. (read: tall boots)
clark: my bad.
later...
me: that was so funny when you asked me if i had gotten taller.
clark: why?
me: well, usually 30-year-olds don't just grow a few inches
clark: you're 30? I thought you were 11.
